PATRICK HUYETT
Counsel

Pat joined Walsh Law as counsel in 2024. Pat came to the firm from Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP, where he defended large corporate defendants in high-stakes litigation and government investigations. Pat now represents plaintiffs seeking justice against large corporations that have harmed them.

Pat’s desire to represent plaintiffs stems from his experience serving as an enforcement attorney at the Federal Trade Commission, the agency charged with protecting the nation’s consumers and promoting competition. While at the Federal Trade Commission, Pat worked extensively on the agency’s case against Martin Shkreli and his companies, which alleged that the defendants drastically raised the price of a life-saving drug and prevented lower-priced generic drugs from entering the market through a multifaceted anticompetitive scheme. The district court in the Southern District of New York ultimately banned Shkreli for life from the pharmaceutical industry and found him liable for $64.6 million.

In litigating cases for plaintiffs, Pat also draws on his experience serving as a law clerk for two federal judges at the start of his career: the Honorable William H. Yohn, Jr. (retired) of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania and the Honorable Marjorie O. Rendell of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit.

Pat graduated magna cum laude from Temple University’s Beasley School of Law. Pat served as the Executive Editor of the Temple Law Review, where he met his wife who was the Editor in Chief. Pat earned his B.A. from Dickinson College.

Pat is devoted to community service and focuses his efforts on helping individuals struggling with alcohol and drug dependence. Pat is a member of the Greater Philadelphia Regional Advisory Board for Caron Treatment Centers, a nonprofit that transforms lives impacted by addiction and substance use. He also serves on the board of the nonprofit Be Part of the Conversation, which equips families and communities in Pennsylvania with skills and resources to understand substance use, addiction, and related health issues.
